This open gap has remained unattended for quite long now. Since a large number of pedestrians proceed along this busy route, there is every possibility of falling into the exposed gap and resulting in disastrous consequences. A senior citizen would face greater hardships in the process. As on Friday, May 10 at 8 am, the move to cover up the open gap remained unattended. The concerned authorities should act fast to cover up the gap on priority basis so that safety is assured to innocent pedestrians proceeding along this location. This would go a long way in avoiding a possible tragedy that would occur sooner or later. Let us hope that the concerned authorities would initiate prompt favourable action at the earliest in public interest.
