Craters on the Vasco road covered up

In ‘Citizen Herald’ dated June 17, I had highlighted that several pot-holes had developed on the main road leading to Vasco. The sewerage manholes, which were opened for some work, were also not asphalted after being covered with metal lids. These potholes caused inconvenience to road users and posed danger during the rains. However, on the day the photograph appeared in the Herald, the authorities concerned carried out repair work and asphalted the manhole openings. A word of thanks to the authorities for taking cognizance of the matter and acting swiftly.
