I would request His Excellency, Governor of Goa to look after the deteriorating electrical supply to the housing in Dona Paula area where all the main transformers, wherever they have been installed are in dilapidated condition. The transformers have broken doors and fuses completely exposed which can cause electrocution as these are 11 KV transformers.
The photo is of a transformer at Sagar Society which is without doors and has been in this condition for several years. You must be aware that Dona Paula has been facing the problem of irregular and interrupted power supply. Locals wonder why the electricity department does not plan to shift the overhead wires to underground cabling.
