PONDA: A totally dried up tree with cracks in Ponda Town near Hanuman Temple is posing risk to the pedestrians, devotees and commuters.
The tree which is located by the side of Ponda-Panjim Road is posing danger to the thousands of vehicles plying on this road.
According to the locals, the tree is dried up past three months and the officials of Ponda Municipal Council and PWD should urgently look into the matter and clear it as it may collapse on anybody any time.
Several school students also walk on this road.
