In order to drive any vehicle on the road, a person needs to obtain a valid driving licence from the Regional Transport Office situated at the respective jurisdictions.
In city, towns and even in the villages, we come across youngsters visiting the nearby bazaar on a two-wheeler to buy newspaper as also items of daily consumption. However, they do not possess a driving licence. Still parents provide them the key of the two-wheeler without imagining the harmful effects it would cause in times of a mishap that would occur sooner or later. With the reopening of some classes at the schools and colleges as well, students proceed to their respective educational institutions on a two-wheeler without having a driving licence.
At times, even three students occupy a single two-wheeler. The Regional Transport Office in the State should take a note of above matter seriously and conduct surprise patrolling in city, towns and villages as well, in order to get acquainted with cases like that of above. Students found driving without a valid licence should be taken to task at all costs. Let us hope that the officials would exercise a strict vigil in this regard so that the much needed safety is assured to precious human lives.
