The wide gap between the iron barricades (please see attached photo) near Panaji market makes it convenient for two wheelers to drive across the road. The height of the cement dividers could be raised to deter the riders from crossing over.
Also as highlighted by Herald (December 7, 2022), why are the barricades placed after the zebra crossing? What where the supervisors and contractor doing when the barricades were being installed?
