In my letter ‘Highway broadened but safety issue neglected’ (Published on Citizen Herald, 15 May), I had highlighted the safety issue of electric poles on national highway.
The concerned authorities and electricity department have now initiated the work of shifting the poles. I would like to thank the concerned authorities specially the electricity department for taking up the works on priority basis.
