In the Citizen Herald page of December 5, Pravin Sardessai had brought to the attention of the concerned authorities the exposed fuse-boxes over streetlight poles existing along the pavement near Dempo Tower at Patto in Panjim.
On the same day of publication of this letter, the Assistant Engineer, Elect. Sub Div-ii (U) submitted a letter to EDC Limited informing them to act swiftly on the matter as the streetlight poles are maintained by their department. Copy of the letter (see pic) sent by the engineer. We hope that all the government authorities take swift action on matters which concern the citizens in the same way as the Electricity Department.
