Footpaths littered with garbage at Taleigao hampering pedestrians

The footpaths along the pot-holed road between St Michael’s Church and Chamunda Residency in Taleigao, Tiswadi is in a bad state and annoying to pedestrians who use that section of the road.
The workers of Panjim Corporation seem to  clear garbage every morning at the bins, but somehow leave the work incomplete.
Sadly they leave a part of it behind and fail to clear the footpath, which is in a sorry state.
I would like to point that the roadsides are never cleared and left as it were, leaving the residents and those using the road to have an ungainly sight everyday.
I understand that people need to be responsible, but how can they be when the authorities have not maintained bins along the roads?
This mess also seems to encourage people to stop and urinate on the side of the roads without any shame at all, even as they see people passing by.
Hopefully, this letter will bring about some cleaning and force authorities to maintain bins, repair the road as I dread to think what will happen when the rains come in.
I decided to live in Goa in this area which was so clean with great roads, but now I’m disheartened at what it has become.
I hope something is done sooner than later and pedestrians have some clean space to walk.
