The PWD Department, Curchorem is still issuing water bills after three months. For the correction of bills, people have to travel 25 kms to Curchorem. I have received my water bill with a remark door lock, whereas the water meter is always installed outside the house.
When my house has consumed three units as we are not staying in the house, I was expecting zero bill as promised by the government instead, I am billed Rs 417 for three units.
Either, the meter reader wants to harass the people or the government wants to fool the people for those consuming less than 16 units per month and getting zero bill.
