This is to bring to your notice that the residents face frequent power failures in Quepem town and surrounding areas. After having power shut down for maintenance work several times during the month of May, we are still unsure how reliable will be power supply.
In most households, when there are few perishables in the refrigerator, a power failure results in a loss of provisions. The water purifiers don’t work and many other household appliances cannot be used. There is no advance intimation of a power cut either. Concerned authorities please look into the matter.
