Every morning the door-to-door garbage collectors collect domestic waste from the homes. It is obvious that the garbage needs to be segregated into dry and wet waste.
However, at several places, it is observed that the garbage collectors are not provided with two bins to collect the dry and wet waste separately. In the absence of proper bins, they collect the waste in sacks and large plastic bags which are hung from the garage-bin as seen in the photo. Besides being a sore sight, the garbage can drop along the way. Garbage collectors need to be provided with two separate bins with wheels by the civic authorities.
