The plateau is a heritage site depicting history of the past. Some old timers who used the plateau for grazing their cattle and goats narrate many interesting incidents of the bygone era. A cross presumed to have been erected on May 16, 1916 stands till date as a mute witness in memory of the ancestors who left their heritage to be preserved for posterity. In thanksgiving and to their memory, a few locals gather around the cross to sing the annual Khursachi Ladainh each year in the month of May.
