The Gonsua – Betalbatim road in incomplete till date and the condition has gone from bad to worse.
It has been nine months since I had penned down a letter regarding the deteriorating condition of the road but the authorities have done nothing.
We villagers have pleaded that the road be repaired but all pleas have fallen on deaf ears. The panchayat too prefers to turn a Nelson’s eye.
Politicians gave us fake promises at the time of voting but have royally neglected us now. We are fed up and don’t know what to do. The road is narrow and full of potholes. I call upon the authorities to repair the road before the rains.
