Those of us who want to visit Mapusa market or banks find it difficult to park our vehicles as working class of people who work outside Mapusa park their vehicles in Mapusa and proceed by bus to their workplace and return only in the evening after work to take their vehicles.
Sadly, due to this others are deprived the parking space for the entire day. If you visit Mapusa court, you will discover that the area opposite the court has been used by some as permanent parking space. Some cars have been lying there for years and as such road becomes narrower and dangerous.
Will the concerned authority please take action and convert all open spaces in Mapusa as pay parking and remove all unused cars on the court road and help us find space to park our cars or bikes?
Mapusa Municipal Council has done more harm than good by allowing builders to convert their open spaces into shops and as such not one building has even an inch of open space and the inmates of the buildings use roads for parking their vehicles.
Will our CM, who is from Mapusa and is seen talking a lot, clear this mess and demolish illegal structures like they have done in Mumbai and Bangalore? Has anyone got guts?
