With a new machine being installed at the Bank of India in Ponda for printing of pass books recently, the previous Bar Code mentioned on the pass books tend to be invalid.
Hence, the customers at this particular bank need to prescribe a new Bar Code by visiting the premises. However, it is rather unfortunate that the official timing allotted for this task is between 10 am and 12 noon. Considering a long queue at the bank on most occasions, the above timing seems to be insufficient for meeting the said purpose.
In the interest of the valuable customers, it would be advisable for the higher officials at this particular bank to increase the timing slot for prescribing Bar Codes by another two hours.
In case, this facility is made available from 10 am to 2 pm, public at large would be able to derive the necessary benefit as and when needed.
