It is noticed that several road users are honking the honk unnecessarily in the heavy traffic. You can’t fly on top of others vehicles and overtake or give way to the vehicles behind you, you cannot solve the problem by honking unnecessary and please don’t create a drama.
Please be patient before honking at someone to turn in somewhere faster. That person you are honking at could possibly be a new young driver learning to drive just like you when you were a new driver before.
They may be practicing driving or driving on their own now. Don’t confuse them. There could be a sick patient on it or a baby on broad. We the citizens of this country – India — have to take care of our tourists and other citizens of this country by following the proper traffic rules and regulations.
We should stop and give way to the public on Zebra Crossing lines and e slow down when the aged people who are crossing the road. We should avoid honking at school, colleges, courts, hospital and other few places keeping in mind the safety and health care of others .
Honking in heavy traffic will not solve the problem but it will affect our ears due to the noise pollution. One of the bad habit we have in us that when the young girls cross the road most of men says with smile on their faces please take care of yourself and cross the road and when the men cross the road everyone starts giving bad words. Maybe we can all just have a little more patience while out driving. Be safe out there! And be a responsible citizen of our country, India.
Request our village panchayats, municipality councils and Goa Traffic Police Cell to put the “No Honking Signboards” where it is required. I would request the public not to blow the horn unnecessarily in the heavy traffic like the fools. Kill time and save life.
