It’s dangerous, unhygienic at Dhavali, Ponda

Two photographs submitted herewith amply depict the dangerous and unhygienic conditions at Dhavali in Ponda. Traffic signboards are being installed with the basic purpose of providing safety to innocent travelers. But these signboards (mentioning speed-breaker ahead) existing in a pitiful condition at the Dhavali junction has been useless in assuring safety to public at large proceeding along the main road. The situation proves dangerous and hence the concerned authorities should re-install the signboard on prompt basis.
Further, the picture of scattered garbage along the roadside near Tip-Top mansion (also at Dhavali) has been noticed on most occasions. Two concrete dustbins placed at this location are found overflowing and residents at this locality dump household garbage/ waste material in open area. Stray cattle and stray dogs often occupy this spot to satisfy their hunger.
The Ponda Municipal Council should take a serious view of this important matter and initiate immediate favourable steps to keep this spot clean and tidy. This will ultimately assure hygienic conditions to one and all.
