Junction boxes of underground cabling need immediate attention

Verna village has been blessed with underground cabling for the past many years. So far so good but the danger lies above the ground. The junction boxes are kept in an open condition after attending to some repairs or whatever.

Below attached is an illustration of just two boxes within a distance of just 200 mts. There are many more like these in the village of Verna. Several young children play in this area and someone can inadvertently touch some live point and get electrocuted.

Just a few days back, a 35-year-old lineman touched a live point and got electrocuted in Bicholim. If this can happen to a seasoned linesman it can happen to children as these boxes are just 3/4 feet above ground and within handshaking distance.
