The entrance road to Tivim Industrial Estate at Karaswada is a potential death trap for commuters, especially for those working in the industrial estate.
In fact, the road inside the estate leading from the entrance on the Tivim side right upto the Colvale side had been dug just prior to the monsoons for laying electrical cables. The haphazard manner in which the roads have been dug and then restored by the concerned authorities is causing immense hardship for those commuting on this stretch.
To make matters worse, many trucks are parked on the road thus making driving on this stretch risky. The concerned authorities are requested to take necessary steps to repair the said stretch of road and not wait till an accident happens for them to wake up.
