It is sad to see that after paying the money to travel in State Kadamba Transport bus, the public has to suffer this monsoon season. Recently, a Kadamba bus plying on the Ponda to Vasco route was leaking from the roof, as a result, the public inside the bus had to open their umbrellas to protect themselves from getting wet.
Why is the Kadamba Transport Corporation allowing the unsafe condition buses to run on the routes that need proper maintenance?
This is not the first time, the lackadaisical attitude shown while maintaining the KTC buses, it was seen even before also that KTC buses on the Margao to Panjim route without a driver door in it and many times noticed that the tyres of even new Kadamba buses are worn out.
Request the KTC Transport Department and Minister concerned, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to look into this matter and if needed to provide new buses across the State of Goa.
