Around Margao municipality, one sees the pathetic sight of the migrant workers either sitting in groups or standing, passing comments or just starring at passers by.
It such an uncomfortable scene, as we have not seen such things in the past.
Our concern is our children who have to come to school or college in the city. How far are they safe?
Why are industries allowed which gives labour to these migrant workers, while our Goan youth have to move out in search of jobs.
We require control of this situation very soon. Margao is the heart of saxttikars and we want it clean, safe as before. Hope those in power are listening.
