Traffic jams are a regular feature on our roads. Such traffic congestion is more prominent on the approach roads to the bridges and busy junctions.
Much of the traffic jams can be avoided if vehicular drivers follow road discipline. However it is observed that lane-cutting is a common occurrence in Goa.
In a bid to overtake the vehicle in front many vehicular drivers resort to lane-cutting which is one of the prime reasons for traffic jams.
It may not be possible for the traffic cops to keep a check on those who cut lanes. It is hence left to each individual vehicular driver to stick to one’s lane, which will lead to a smooth flow of traffic.
