The Mapusa Electricity Department is in a total mess. Applications submitted for name change is taking three months and more in spite of having made all payments. Several trips to this department do not help.
It is indeed sad to see senior citizens being shunted from pillar to post to get small matters resolved. Reason given is shortage of staff and the never ending reason due to COVID-19. No one seems to be doing their job honestly and responsibly. Inefficient employees should be pulled up. Will the honourable Power Minister look into this and pay a surprise visit to see things for himself, as seeing is believing.
