Most of us must have passed by the traffic circle opposite the Hospicio Hospital where a lone traffic police normally tries to direct the flow of vehicles in almost four sides. This traffic circle ironically is made up of old traffic concrete dividers which serve the purpose as far as traffic flow is concerned.
In today’s era of development and high technology, Margao is just not moving. This traffic circle could have been developed with a traffic signal system also in place. I would personally request the MMC officials to do away with this naked traffic circle and plan for something innovative considering the city’s image and its reputation.
