Messy hanging wires are a nuisance

All around the towns and suburbs one can see the private Internet providers looping their wires and routers on lamp posts, trees and on anything that’s erect. Scraps of these wires are also left lying around on the streets. All these wires criss-crossing everywhere are an ugly spectacle. How are these private operators given permissions to hang their wires everywhere? Are there no rules to follow at all? If we are aiming for a ‘Smart City’ this sort of rubbish is not acceptable.
Besides, other operators have cut up the streets in zig zag manner and then shoddily filled it with cement which in a short time leaves gaping craters on the streets everywhere. These deep cuts on the streets are a real danger to motorists, specially two-wheel riders and can result in mishaps. The City officials need to look into these aspects seriously and create ground rules for such private service providers who cannot blatantly misuse public utilities for private gain.
