A couple of weeks back, I had reported through the ‘Citizen Herald’ column about the metal remains of a burnt effigy of narkasur lying by the roadside at Sada in Vasco. The remains were left on a blind turn at a busy road junction and posed a risk to road users. It is heartening to see that the authorities took note of the same and removed it in a few days.
