An iron cover existing over a chamber situated adjacent to Heritage Princes Complex in the vicinity of old bus-stand in Ponda has been noticed in a misplaced condition for quite long. Due to this, an open gap has developed at this chamber.
The situation turns dangerous for the lives of innocent pedestrians proceeding along this route. There is every possibility of public falling inside through the existing gap thereby leading to adverse consequences.
Senior citizens would be the worst sufferers in the process, more so during late evening and night. Pedestrians need to be assured safety while proceeding along this strategic location. Hence the concerned authorities should consider this matter with utmost seriousness and rearrange the misplaced cover in its correct position so that any untoward incident in the near future is averted on a permanent basis.
