The traffic coming from Margao to Betul, Cuncolim, that proceeding towards Margao from Cuncolim and vehicles proceeding from Betul and turning towards Margao creates a nightmare for pedestrians as well. Either there should be rumblers at the cross junction, or close it and provide two roundabouts for vehicles that will regulate the chaos. Let a fact finding mission examine the spot, before another fatal accident strikes and snuff out more precious lives.

On NH17 at St Sebastiao Junction, there is a serious problem of traffic management. A number of fatal accidents have consumed travelers and more are in waiting. The crossing in the middle has to be totally done away with.
