The NGOs and the Chinchinim Deussua Panchayat have made repeated requests for this much needed facility. The junction is a dangerous blind spot and a crossing point for many school children. When actually the PWD descended on the scene to execute, some vested interest prevailed upon them to block it. One wonders how the PWD could relent to private individual and decide not to implement it. Today there are hordes of cattle, sometimes numbering 100 plus, which serve as a natural speed breaker. It will be unfortunate when motorists trying to dodge this menace which could even lead to further accidents. The cattle are having a free run on NH 17 with no one to care.

Chinchinim The junction of 4 cross roads at Dandeavado, Chinchinim on NH 17 is totally a blind spot to the motorists. It has been a site of many deadly and fatal accidents in the past and continues to be so even today.
