In July, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant in a reply to Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro during the Assembly’s Question Hour had promised to install the traffic signals in Navelim by November 2019.
He had even stated that he would invite Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco for inauguration. The traffic chaos near the Navelim Church seems to be an unending nightmare.
Till today, no signals have seen the light of the day. Why does the Chief Minister not honour the assurances and promises given on the floor of the House? The Assembly Sessions seems to be a mockery of sorts.
