On both sides of the DB Marg, there are ornamental lamps with very dim lights as a result of which there is semi darkness on the entire road, right from Panjim market till the Miramar circle. This is an important street of the city with heavy traffic all day long and till late night.

Streets within the city need to be brightly lit obviating the need for motorists using head lights. At night it gets very difficult to drive on this street with bright, blinding head lights being used by inconsiderate motorists, things getting aggravated when there are heavy rains.

To make matters worse these shabby, discoloured plastic road dividers are erected from the Kala Academy junction. These need to be completely replaced with fluorescent radiant dividers.

Presently, it is only guess work, knowing from where these dividers are placed, more so for visitors, and one can hit them and have the vehicle damaged.

It is requested of the authorities to fix bright streetlights on this entire road and install road dividers with the required glossy colours.
