I have even seen some people using the place as a toilet. It not only affects the Swach Bhaarat Abhiyaan but also traffic. This is now a danger spot. In search of food, many cattle, stray dogs and cats come there and run across the road. This is a serious risk for motorists. On 1st December, I was travelling on that road and I saw a person just an inch away from an accident. He was travelling on a bike and when he reached the above mentioned spot, a dog ran across with a big garbage bag in his mouth. That man applied the brakes immediately and was able to avert danger.
Recently, the Municipality Elections took place. I hope there is some one in charge of the area. If the area comes under the panchayat, is it not noticed by the panchayat authorities? This is what we are showing our guests who come to visit our State. I would like to request the concerned people to please look into this matter seriously and solve this problem at the earliest. It’s my humble request. Let’s make Goa Swach.
