It is less than a year since traffic signals were installed at few places along the DB Marg in Panjim. Several times, the indicators near the Kala Academy have not been working and this spot is host to the intersection of four major roads. In the absence of Traffic Police and non-functional indicators, motorists speed and there is a free-for-all with vehicles crisscrossing dangerously. Let us cross our finger that some remedial actions would be taken soon. This requires prompt action by the concerned authorities.
