The sewerage line is not properly covered by concrete slabs and is exposed. It is located just outside the residence-cum-clinic of the well-known doctor from Vasco, Dr Pedro Bravo D’Costa. This obviously poses a health hazard to the patients who visit the clinic.
According to Dr Costa many a time the sewerage line gets blocked and raw sewerage rises to the top. “While the municipal workers do clear the drain every time it gets blocked, necessary steps need to taken to see that such blockage of the sewerage line does not occur at all,” the doctor said.
The sewerage line also needs to be properly covered by concrete slabs as someone could even fall into it in the darkness of the night.
