A section of the pavement along the Swatantra Path in Vasco is earmarked for vehicular parking while the other half is for the use of pedestrians.
The parking space on the pavement is sufficient for parking of small and medium sized vehicles. However, when large, high-end cars are parked on the pavement, the vehicles also occupy a major part of the highway as seen in the photo.
This causes great inconvenience to the other vehicular drivers and can lead to accidents. The large cars need to be made to park along the bylanes and not along the main road.
