Benaulim Beach, one of the most popular beaches in South Goa gets a tremendous amount of footfalls on weekdays and the weekends are beyond jam packed. People mostly arrive in cars, which lead to traffic blockade on the main approach road.
The Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (GTDC) has built a new, large parking apron proximal to the beach (across the road from Fairfield Marriott) but due to an absence of proper signage and bad visibility from the main road very few people are aware about it.
I would request the village panchayat to put up proper directional boards so that the load on main beach parking is reduced and the approach road remains congestion free.
