Pathetic BSNL services

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has hit rock bottom with reference to the services provided to the public. 

I had no choice but to change the broadband provider as I could not get the internet for 10 continuous days for the unlimited package I took. Absolute waste of money. 

I retained the landline which went dead on October 21. After registering my complaint, I got a prompt reply that my phone would be attended to shortly. To date, this is not done. 

When the junior engineer is contacted, he frankly admits that the linesmen are not reporting on duty due to non-payment of their salaries for many months. The linesmen are justified in their action. 

The BSNL has to work out a system where a rebate is extended for the number of days the phone is dead and win back the confidence of the people. If only their service response was as prompt as their billing department, we would have our level of satisfaction greatly enhanced.
