There exists mismanagement and corruption at Karmali Railway Station pay parking. The attendants overcharge for car parking facility.
The tickets are clearly printed as Rs 20 for 24 hours but the pay parking attendant charges Rs 40 for the same by overwriting by pen on the tickets, further more these parking tickets/slips don’t have any serial numbers on them, when asked the attendant says this is the normal mode of operation as told to him by the pay parking contractor.
The concerned authorities should look into this matter as this pay parking facility has no accountability and wreaks of a scam.
