Traffic signboards are meant for assuring safety to innocent travellers proceeding along the main road. But at times, the signboards fail to meet the basic purpose, thereby inviting danger for precious human lives.
Seen in the picture is one such instance at Dhavali in Ponda wherein the signboard (indicating existence of a speed-breaker) is covered with branches of the adjacent trees. This situation existed as on Saturday, October 15 at 8:15 am.
The concerned authorities need to chop the branches for assuring clear visibility to innocent travelers.
