The concerned authority should increase the frequency of buses to Ganeshpuri Housing Board Colony.
The residents of Ganeshpuri and Ekta Nagar, especially the students of St Xavier’s College and Higher Secondary School face many problems because of low frequency of buses especially in the morning and afternoon or evening hours.

Most of the students of St Xavier’s College and Higher Secondary School and others use the public transport but the buses are less in number. There are only three buses plying as of now, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are many buses going to DM College, Assagao but it is a feeling of sadness and disappointment that St Xavier’s College and HSS students need buses as most of the classes are now offline. So, most of the time, the buses get overcrowded and because of that there is no comfort to the passengers especially the students.
And due to overcrowded situations, it is also not safe for the students to travel in a bus. It’s a humble request to the municipality to look into this matter seriously and try to provide more buses as soon as possible to Ganeshpuri Housing Board Colony via St Xavier’s College and HSS.
