I am writing this expressing my deepest concern over poor state of streetlights in Cacora area. Almost, all the fixtures are replaced by LED lights. Even after replacement of the fixtures, still there is problem in it. The lights have fused or damaged.
After it gets dark, moving out on the roads becomes dangerous and risky, especially during monsoon. To make conditions more threatening there is also a fear of stray dogs.
Through the medium of Citizen Herald of your esteemed daily, I appeal to the concerned authorities in the municipal council to look into the matter and make the streetlights functional.
