I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities over the bad condition of roads at Porvorim. The citizens pay taxes to the government and so the government should provide basic infrastructure facilities like good and clean roads.
The condition of roads is disgraceful with countless potholes making the purpose of the road a failure. In our locality, the roads have not been repaired for over a year. And when the repair work is done, it’s shabby and doesn’t last for more than a few months, and most of the time the roads are dug up but are never repaired. The situation gets even worse during the rainy season when the potholes are not visible and sometimes people get injured in an accident due to the worn out roads.
On behalf of the residents of Porvorim, I humbly request the concerned authorities to look into this matter at the earliest.
