Last year, soon after the monsoon season was over, after facing lots of criticism from the public, the PWD Minister assured Goans that all roads across Goa will be repaired and even reconstructed before the next monsoon in such a way that nothing will happen to the roads for the next 10 years. All had a good laugh.
Now, Goans wants to know, where the PWD minister is, as the monsoon season has already knocked at the door. And where is his 10 years assurance. Goa will notice same conditions of roads this monsoon also. And as usual, videos of potholed and muddy roads will crop up in social media. Goans will have to face the same condition of roads this monsoon also off course, cursing the PWD Minister.
He must be preparing himself to provide answers to the public well in advance to counter their agitations this monsoon too.
Sorry to say that the Minister has failed in all angles. We ourselves are to be blamed for voting such candidates. Goans please be alert this time, as next elections are at the doorsteps.
