As a matter of fact, the roads at different locations in the State have been noticed in a pathetic condition. Potholes have been developed at most of the strategic locations thereby turning it extremely dangerous for the travellers to proceed along the concerned routes.
Two-wheeler riders remain to be the worst sufferers in the process. With water stagnating inside the potholes, their precious lives ultimately remains at stake. I can recollect at this juncture that road repairs had remained neglected while Sudin Dhavalikar acted as the PWD minister then. Even the prevailing PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar has failed in assuring timely repairs of potholed roads in the State.
Lack of favourable action in this serious matter amply depicts that precious human lives are just taken for granted. The road proceeding from Almeida High School towards Ravinagar at Khadpabandh has been lying in a pitiful state of affairs since quite long.
Innocent travellers are therefore confronted with great risk and danger along this route. I hope that the PWD Minister do not remain a silent spectator to the hardships faced by the commuters any more, but initiate immediate practical action so as to assure a safe and comfortable journey for the travellers on a permanent basis.
