A trench existing along the roadside in the vicinity of Hotel Musafir at Dhavali in Ponda has turned dangerous for the pedestrians and travellers proceeding along this busy route.
The vehicles are likely to collapse inside this trench, more so during the night due to poor visibility on the road. This would result in adverse consequences including injuries to human lives and damage to the concerned vehicles.
It is absolutely necessary for the concerned authorities to install necessary railing along the roadside at this particular trench so that vehicles are prevented from falling into it. Let us hope that prompt favourable action would be initiated in this serious matter in public interest. No doubt, the pedestrians and travellers must be assured safety at all costs.
