The creek situated in the vicinity of Sambari Residency along Tisk-Dhawali route in Ponda has turned dangerous for the lives of innocent travellers. Vehicles proceed continuously along this busy route and there is no protection of any sort in order to assure safety for travellers and pedestrians. Under such circumstances, there is every possibility of vehicles falling inside the creek thereby leading to a serious tragedy sooner or later.

Travellers are likely to be seriously injured in the process.

The situation worsens during the night due to improper visibility along the road. Pedestrians too face great risk while walking their way along this area.

In order to assure safety for travellers and pedestrians on a permanent basis, it would be appropriate for the concerned competent authorities to provide iron railings near the creek so that a possible mishap in the near future is avoided.

Let us hope that prompt favourable action will follow in public interest. No doubt, precious human lives must be assured safety at all costs.
