Providing library at Cuncolim good move; leaving it empty bad move

It was a very good initiative by Cuncolim municipal council, to shift the library from old location which was very isolated, to the present new municipal building in the market.
However, it was very disheartening to see many students returning back in disappointment as there are no books available for reference.
The CMC library mostly wears a deserted look, with empty book shelves that seem to welcome all those who come here.
At present the library is manned by labour employee of the CMC. I request the CMC council to employ a dedicated professional librarian and fill the empty bookshelves with books that can be referred by students, those that impart knowledge.
Many citizens of Cuncolim are willing to donate books towards the CMC library and efforts must be made to initiate a drive. We can also collect old story books in good condition to put life in the library.
