As humans we have degraded our intelligence, we cannot read a simple signage which reads ‘reserved vehicle parking for handicapped person.’ This shows the level of respect and concerned and common sense in us.
These stupid actions cause a lot of hard ship to the needy person.
Parking a vehicle is a nightmare in Margao, but that does not give us free pass to violate rules. Many ‘Concerned Citizens’ on Herald have highlighted this issue but it eventually falls on deaf ears.
Ironically, the security guard at the municipality entrance is in a helpless situation, as, according to him, most vehicles belong to Margao Municipal employees. My humble request to Margao traffic cell is to take action against these regular violators. I believe to make smart cities, Goa needs more people with common sense.
