The road which was supposed to be thrown open for the public from 1 February is still being closed due to uncertainty over the culvert. Questions are being raised on how the PWD undertook the execution of this work without any authorization from the affected land owners. Closure of the road has affected the lives of the people who travel on the road everyday especially to the Church due to negligence of the PWD dept in doing their homework before execution of the project. Recently, Carmona villagers were also forced to stop work by PWD of constructing water drains in road widening areas and also by digging existing tarred road by the PWD by putting the lives of motorists at risk in Ratmaddem ward without even having a work order and NOC for digging.
